Healing Music

My boyfriend leaves soon, real soon, for Iraq, and i’ve been real into songs and lyrics lately. Are there any songs anyone knows of that are about my situation, or even just, hopeful or even sad?

Like i just downloaded David Cook, Light On, and put this part in my info,

like ravi shankar or should i stick to no music?

Ive heard it before but I don’t know what it is called. For example the music tells you to focus on your feet then moves up your body. Or to picture something like a waterfall or something. Anyone know what that is called?

I find it quiet use full and relaxing. Sounds ridiculous to me.
Mediation is a natural thing that has been practiced for thousands of years.

I really need some meditation tracks that can also be downloaded to my computer in an mp3 form so I can listen to them on the road. Please, if anyone know of such sites please write back. also, I don’t mean sound from nature or other relaxing music but guided meditation with a humen voice.

it seems plants will bear better fruits and lovely flowers when music is played for them eg classical music. I wonder if other types of music like patriotic….rock…blues…etc how they will turn out to be….lol. Have you tried it on your plants?…

Do you remember any of these? I remember coming home and Uncle Remus was sometimes on the radio. I don’t think they would allow that today.

Great Gildersleeve, Charley McCarthy (was that an individual show or just a
character, seems like it was a puppet. and someone named Edgar Bergan. Who was the puppet. One or both) Then there was music from
the Grand Ole Opry, I loved the Carter Family with Mother Maybelle. I loved the Chuck Wagon Gang. They had such a good sound. We listened to country, always. Earnest Tubb, Lefty Frizell, Hank Snow, Hank Williams, String Bean,
Grandpa Jones, Minnie Pearl, Ira and Charley Luvon (sp) , I think I was named after the Luvons. That is my middle name, Luvon. Is that how that was spelled. Had I been a boy, becha my name would have been Ira or Charley or both. Can you name some more of those musicians. They were so great, oh that fiddle music. Wow. Mandolin, banjo. Great stuff.
There were religious programs with music, the faith healing ones, . Mom listened to those, even wrote to some. . Billy Graham, of course. Then there were some more preachers, seems like someone from something called the Plain Truth. We got that magazine. but we did not believe it.
